- Lori Overton's mother (a former breast cancer survivor) will have an MRI Tuesday to examine a new spot. Pray for good news from the test and also for Lori's mom to remain calm during the MRI procedure.
-Prayers for a friend of Allen Overton's that has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
- Please continue to pray for peace, comfort, and guidance for the Daniels family.
- Praise that Michelle Eichel and her fiance Steve met with Chuck. Unfortunately, their current plans are to be married at a courthouse this Friday. Please pray for the Lord's direction in their plans, and please pray for Betsy.
- Please continue to pray for the non-communicative relationship between Betsy and Sarah.
- Chip's cousin, Kenny, has needed an increase in the dosage of his pain medication, and is also on an anti-depressant, and all of this medication is very hard on him. Please pray for peace and comfort for Kenny.
- Praise that Chris' management indicated their support when he told them he would like to pursue a different opportunity. Pray for his success in getting an interview for the position he is interested in, and pray for God's voice to speak through him during the interview as he shares his reasons for wanting the position. Chris has very strongly felt and appreciated our prayers.
- Prayers for safe travels for Rhonda and her relatives as they return from the mountains today.
- Praise that Bill's trial has been moved to October.
- Praise that Bill's dad's heart is back in rhythm. Prayers for guidance as he may still need the ablation procedure.
- Bill's dad will also have a CAT scan in a couple of weeks to ensure his cancer hasn't returned. Pray for good news from this test!
- Lisa is about three days into another one of her complicated migraine-triggered attacks. Please pray for this episode to pass quickly.
- Pray for the seniors as they approach graduation, and pray for their parents during all of the related activities.
- Prayers for the Lord's direction for Apex Baptist Church as the new pastor search continues.

- Rick's dad had a stroke last week. Praise that he is recovering. Prayers for his continued recovery as he still has issues with the right side of his body, and prayers for strength for Rick's mom during his recovery.
- Pray for job situations in the class.
- Cole Johnson missed school this week due to illness. Prayers for healing for Cole.
- Praise from Bill for plenty of work, and prayers for guidance in his upcoming trial. Praise that Bill has now recovered from his sinus surgery, including his recent eye pain, and that he can finally breathe! Prayers for Bill's dad's ablation procedure that is coming up in a few weeks.
- Kathy's brother is wrestling with demons, as well as physical pain, from his service in the Vietnam war. Pray that he will get the help he needs.
- Tom is meeting with a neurosurgeon on Thursday. Prayers for good advice and a good prognosis.
- Prayers for those involved in the pastor search for our church.
- Prayers for the Lord's guidance for Michelle Eichel and her fiancé as they plan an August wedding.
- Prayers that Sarah Eichel will make wiser choices, and prayers for the Lord's guidance for Betsy in deciding if she should go visit her.
- Praise for Tom's dad's birthday, and prayers for the family members visiting him and the conflict that may result.
- Lisa had an opportunity to witness this past week to a friend (Bonnie) that is agnostic and has been on her heart for a long time. Praise for this opportunity, and prayers that Bonnie's heart will finally open and be receptive to the Gospel.
- Please continue to keep Pam and the Daniels children in your prayers.
- Prayers for Judy Oakley's brother and sister-in-law in Greenville, MS who have lost everything due to the flooding there.
- Praise that Casey and Kyle celebrate their one-year anniversary today!
- Prayers that the Lord will speak to the heart of Alexis' friend Gary who is not a Christian.
- Rick's brother was in an accident which totaled his car. He has been out of work for 18 months, so this is a major financial problem. Prayers for guidance in finding an inexpensive used car, as well as employment.
- Prayers for good news from Tom's assessment scheduled for June 1st.
- Praise for Megan's upcoming graduation, and for healing in her relationship with the McCullocks. Prayers for that healing to continue.

- Tom asked that we pray for his parents, no longer mobile and living alone in a big house. For wisdom and courage.
- Rhonda offered praise that Casey now has a 12-month job offer for next year.
- Rick and Lisa are traveling this week.
- Pray for the pastor search committee.
- Betsy's brother and family are on a mission trip in an unsettled region of the former USSR. Pray for safety and God's blessing on her brother as he teaches and ministers.
- Pray for Chris's wisdom and clear understanding of God's will as he wrestles with a situation at work. Pray for healing for Cole (6 yr old), at doctor today with fever, and for Paige as she cares for Cole.
- Praise from Tom that his VA claim (#1 of 2) has gone through. Pray for wisdom and discernment going forward as opportunities (and not) present themselves.
- Pray for Betsy as mother of the bride Michelle (August 13 target) that she respond with the character and wisdom of Jesus.
- Pray for Meredith's mother as special days approach this summer. And wisdom for Meredith and her siblings as they support her.
- Pray for Kathy R's daughter Amity (needs school position next year), son Scott for good work for a year before entering med. school, and husband Scott at home waiting on a transplant.
- Remember all the school children, teachers, and parents as the year draws to a close - that they would be diligent and wise with their time.

- Pray for the peace of Israel.

- Jeanine's brother got a good test report in that his melanoma does not appear to have spread. Reconstructive surgery is ahead of him following the cancer removal. Pray for healing.
- Tom asked prayer for a friend who has lost his wife and daughter in two separate auto accidents over about 2 years. Pray for peace and comfort.
- Betsy asked that we pray similarly for the family of Linda, her friend who is very ill with difficult family decisions ahead. Pray for healing, peace, comfort, and good decisions. Pray that the Lord move in the lives of her sister and brother.
- Kathy V. asked that we pray for her neighbor.
- Kathy V. asked prayers for wisdom regarding when to start a new Bible study at the YMCA.

- Betsy offered praise for a good report from Duke docs re David's knee. He is cleared for sports. Also from Betsy, praise that her mother's lymphoma seems to be ok at this time. 3 months before next appointment.
- No word as yet on whether we're going to be able to get the NCSU foreign students to a covered dish at Doug and Kathys. Pray for that ministry opportunity to develop in whatever way God intends.
- Meredith asked prayer for her (recently widowed) mother, who is still grieving and looking for purpose. She offered praise (last week) for a great trip to England with her mother.
- Continue to pray for Danny as he works through the pain of a bad knee and bad hip.
- Pray for Tom as he returns from a weekend camping with Sam. Pray for doctors, pain management, and progress with VA.
- Pray for summer jobs for our soon to be over-summering college students.
